Textile effluent is contaminated with dyes, dissolved solids, suspended solids and other chemicals depend on the process adopted by the industry. Chemical treatment followed by aerobic treatment will get reusable quality treated water for process application. Automatic chemical dosing system with redox potential control, coagulation/ precipitation/ flocculation and settling are part of the chemical treatment.

Biological  treatment with aeration or Nano product treatment  will  reduce the BOD & COD content of the effluent . Final reverse osmosis treatment will give suitable quality treated water for reuse application. Biological treatment / Nano product treatments are cost economical compared to other treatments, but sometimes other treatment methods also work out economical.

 Attached photo is a 200,000 Litres, washing unit, treated water used for process application. Chemical and biological treatment followed by reverse osmosis adopted in this plant. Proper primary, secondary and tertiary treatment selection process is required to meet the quality industrial reuse standard.
